A huge part of getting married is the invitation process. How do you inform guests of the Big Day? Here at Front Row Bride we love hearing from Brides on their chosen styles, as well as local Suppliers about trends they are experiencing.
That’s why, Front Row Bride caught up with the lovely Emma Farwell of Emma Farwell Designs to chat all things invitations, to help you beautiful Bridal babes on your way!
If you’re currently researching wedding invitations, here are three popular trends that we wanted to share with you, that we’ve totally fallen in love with from Emma’s collections.
Let’s Talk…. Floral Water Colours
A design so elegant and fresh. Floral water colours are proving all the rage and don’t seem to be going anywhere fast.
As Emma tells us, “My soft water coloured floral-illustrated range make perfect invitations to reflect the spring and summer seasons, setting the tone with something bright, colourful and vibrant.”
Emma creates this look via a modern calligraphy style font which creates a neat, sophisticated finish. “This is so on trend and looks beautiful carried through to the stationery on the day,” says Emma.
Next Up… Intricate Laser Cut Invitations
One of Front Row Bride’s favourites. A melody of layers, textures and cut-outs, to present a truly special wedding invitation.
“Laser cut invitations comprise of a laser cut sleeve intricately cut in a floral pattern from the ivory pearlescent card,” tells Emma, “it is then finished with a handtied satin bow, or an elegant belly-band, to add a little luxury to your very special day.”
We love the detailing that goes into laser cut invitations, and the magic of the shapes created by this method.
Last but by no means least… Vintage / Rustic Lace Invitations
There’s no denying vintage lace has been a popular trend within the Bridal industry for several years and there is no sign of it going anywhere soon. It’s fair to say, this style has definitely won the hearts of Brides!
If you prefer the vintage look and you are considering your wedding day being on this style, then these wedding invitations by Emma Farwell may be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
